Hogscouts Camp

Join us for a fun weekend camp where we will explore the Wizarding World. We will do lots of activities including: potions, make our own wands, quill pens, play Quidditch, outdoor cooking, and so much more! All participants will earn a badge. Brownies will earn their Eco Friend Badge, Juniors will earn their Eco Camper Badge, and Cadettes will earn their Eco Trekker Badge. 

Included: Friday evening dessert (please eat before arrival or bring a sack dinner). Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and multiple snack breaks. Sunday breakfast and morning snack. And of course we will be making our own Butter Beer!

Sleeping Arrangements: We will be sleeping in cabins that have beds with a mattress. Participants will be asked to bring sleeping bags, pillows, and any other items they would like for comfort. All sleeping areas are spread at least 6 ft. apart. We will prioritize having troops sleep together, smaller troops/groups will be grouped together in the same cabin.

Please Note: Adults are welcome but may also drop off Girl Scouts at this event. Financial Aid is available to GSNorCal Girl Members for this program. You will have the option to request Financial Aid during the registration process.

For girls grades 2-8 ~ min 10/max 32 and adults ~ min 5/ max 15

Fee: $70 per girl, $50 per adult

Important Notice: This GSNorCal in-person event will require participants (including chaperones) to provide proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of an event.

Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by emailing Member Services. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $10 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $10 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $15 council service fee are non-refundable.
