Exec Connect: Community Work

Girl Scouts emphasizes Community Service and the importance of collaboration. But have you ever wondered how this translates to passions outside of high school? Then join us for our ExecConnect: Community Work program! Together we'll explore the role of community-based programs, nonprofit work, and how regardless of the field you are in, you can always prioritize community building. Through ExecConnect, older girls will learn about different career paths and passion projects, hear and talk to experts, and connect with fellow girl scouts. Led by a girl scout moderator, we'll start with a discussion panel and hear about each panelist's work, what led them to their field, and their dreams for the future. After the panel, we'll open up the zoom room for questions and discussion.

June 12th, 2021 ~ 2:00pm to 3:00pm

For girl grades 9-12 ~ min 15/max 30

Fee: $5 per girl

Please Note: Discounts codes do not apply to in-person council camp sessions, volunteer-run camps, service unit events, and council events with fees less than the discount's value.

Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by emailing Member Services. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $10 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $10 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $15 council service fee are non-refundable.
