Discoveree 2022
Level up your Girl Scout Leadership skills at Discoveree, a one-day event focused on how to help your girls thrive. Join forces with other Girl Scout volunteers while exploring topics that are interesting to you. Learn new crafts, outdoor skills, STEM workshops, positive youth development techniques, and just about anything in-between. Discoveree also has workshops available for girls in grades 9-12, such as Go for the Gold, and Destinations - Where in the World Do You Want to Go? Choose your favorite workshops or pick a learning path that corresponds with your girls’ grade level. Older Girl Opportunity! We are looking for several Girl Scouts in grades 6th - 12th to help out as Discoveree Assistants. Typical jobs include distributing lunches and delivering materials to and from classrooms. Have fun helping at a great Girl Scout event and enjoy some downtime too with crafts and snacks. Please Note: No walk-in registrations permitted. All attendees (workshop leaders, volunteers, and participants) need to register for a workshop or a free period for each session of the day. Only one registrant is allowed per registration. If you need to register multiple people, please complete an individual registration for each participant. No tagalongs (children or babies) please. Due to the number of people attending, we recommend arriving no later than 8AM for parking and checking in.
Important Notice: This GSNorCal in-person event will require participants (including chaperones) to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Fees
- Adult Participants:
- $35 Early Bird Participant (ends January 31st, 2022)
- $40 per Participant (February 1st through February 17th, 2022)
- Girl Participants:
- $8.75 (per workshop) - Girls Grades 9-10 (Seniors) may attend the *starred* workshops
- $8.75 (per workshop) - Girls Grades 11-12 (Ambassadors) may attend any individual workshops
- Only those workshops denoted with *star* in the title are open to Girl Scout Seniors (all workshops are open to Ambassadors)

Schedule
Saturday, February 26th, 2022 ~ 7:30am-4:30pm PST
- 7:30am - Doors open and Check-in begins (Come visit the Girl Scout Store and the Girl Scout Concession Stand)
- 8:30am - Opening Ceremony begins
- 9:00am - Workshops begin (due to the number of people attending, we recommend arriving no later than 8:00am for parking and check-in.)
- 4:30pm - Departure after last workshop
