Better Than We Found It: Climate Action Conference 

Join us for a two day Climate Action Conference! Day 1 will be a virtual conference with panel discussions with young activists from local groups and accomplished women who have centered their careers around sustainability. Day 2 will be at Camp Bothin and where we will provide hands-on workshops about ways to make your life and community more sustainable from gardening and composting to bike repair and public demonstrations. Also, you’ll have the chance to partake in outdoor adventure activities such as archery and hiking or learning more about unique nature skills like backpacking, animal tracking and foraging.

Please Note: Day 1 will be virtually on Zoom at home. Day 2 will be on site at Camp Bothin. There will be breaks throughout the sessions. Lunch and snacks will be provided on Sunday for all registered participants. Participants can choose their desired workshops.  

Saturday, November 6th, 2021 ~ 10:00am to 5:00pm PST and Sunday, November 7th, 2021 ~ 10:00am to 4:00pm PST

For girls grades 6-12 ~ min 25/max 75

Fees: $55 per girl/ $30 per adult

Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing, email is acceptable. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $10 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $10 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $15 council service fee are non-refundable.
