Winterfest 2012
Sat, Dec. 1, 2012, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Open To Girls Grades K-12, Friends and Families (500min/5000max)
Winterfest is the last BIG event in the Girl
Scout 100th Year! It is a magical winter
wonderland of crafts, games, and holiday
shopping created by Teens Take Over and
troops from all over Northern California.
Make your own unique room decorations,
impress people with your glamorous jewelrymaking
abilities, stand out from the crowd
with face paint and henna tattoos, play
exciting games to win prizes, and shop for
one of a kind holiday gifts that you will not
find at the mall! There are over 150 booths
of crafts, games, and shopping all in one
amazing event taking place at the Santa Clara
County Fairgrounds (SCCF) with convenient
parking and food sold by SCCF. All levels
of troops are invited to attend as participants
and bring along friends and family. Junior
troops are invited to run activity booths*
or just attend as participants. Cadette,
Senior, and Ambassador troops are invited
to run shopping mall and activity booths*
or just attend as participants. If your troop
is hosting a food drive of your own for the
holiday season, this is a great chance for
you to end your collection and drop off your
donations at the event. A week long council
food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank
wraps up at the event to help the hungry
through the holidays. Food drive patches
as well as Winterfest 2012 patches will be
sold at this event. Please note: *Junior,
Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops
who plan to run booths at Winterfest 2012
must register separately and be accepted for
this activity under Winterfest 2012 Booths.
Cost of parking and fair food not included in
registration fee and is set by SCCF.
$15 per child - $10 per adult
Badge/Patch: Winterfest 2012 and
