Discoveree 2018

Girl Scouting made easy! Join us for a one-day event focused on learning new skills and helping girls thrive. Discoveree gives you the opportunity to meet other Girl Scout enthusiasts while exploring topics that are interesting to you. Learn new crafts, outdoor skills, positive youth development techniques, and just about anything in-between. Discoveree has workshops available for girls in grades 9-12, such as College Roadmap, Go for the Gold, Self Defense, and Where in the World Would you Like to Go (which is information on destinations).  Choose your favorite workshops or pick a learning path that corresponds with your girls' age level.

*Please note: One registrant is allowed per registration. If you need to register multiple people, please complete an individual registration for each participant. Due to the number of people attending, we recommend arriving no later than 8:00am for parking and registration. No children or babies please.

Attention all older girl troop leaders! Do you have girls that need service hours? Discoveree is looking for assistants to help at the event, they might be asked to help at a particular workshop, distribute lunches to the participants and/or workshop leaders, and help with workshop leaders deliver materials to their classrooms. Fees:

• Adults - $30 Early Bird (ends December 11th, 2017) - $35 December 12th through January 11th, 2018
• Girls grades 9-10 may attend the *starred* workshops at $7.50 per workshop
• Girls grades 11-12 may attend indivdual workshops at $7.50 per workshop
• $8 - Deli Lunch (optional)

Lunch description: Each lunch includes chips and a cookie.  Beverages are not included but will be available at a Girl Scout troop concession stand.

Santa Fe Chicken Salad – Chicken, black bean and corn salsa, tomatoes, avocado, cheddar cheese, crunchy chile lime tortilla strips, romaine and spring mix greens and spicy roasted pepitas dressing.  
Hummus Wrap – Creamy spread of tahini and garbanzo beans, lettuce and tomatoes
Roast Beef Sandwich – Roast beef with provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato on freshly baked French roll ( mayo, mustard packets on the side)
Turkey Sandwich – Breast of turkey with Monterey jack cheese, lettuce and tomato on freshly baked French roll (mayo, mustard packets on the side)
