2019 GSNorCal 12th Annual Meeting

Join us at our 12th Annual Meeting of Girl Scouts of Northern California (GSNorCal). 

Saturday, April 13th, 2019 ~ 10:00am to 3:00pm

• 9:00am to 10:00am - Registration Table Opens - Multi-Purpose Building (sign-in, pick-up name badge and annual meeting materials)
• 9:30am to 9:50am - Girl Voting Members meet at Little House (Due to construction, the Little House restrooms & kitchen will be closed off)
  • Adult Voting Members meet in the Multi-Purpose Building for Adult Networking
• 10:00am to 3:00pm - Annual Meeting in the Multi-Purpose Building
• Optional Saturday, April 13th Events:
  • 9:00am to 10:00am AND 3:00pm to 3:30pm - History Museum will be Open
  • 3:00pm to 3:45pm --- Tour of Bothin:  Join a member of our Camps and Adventure Team for a 45-minute tour of Bothin immediately following the Annual Meeting.  See our renovation progress and learn about what’s next, for property improvements, summer camp and programs at Bothin!

2019 Annual Meeting Goals:

Elect Slate:

• Directors-at-Large
• Board Development Committee (BDC) members

Members:

• Increasing access. Our commitment and strategy to increase access to Girl Scouts, so that every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout is able to participate in Girl Scout experiences that help her achieve powerful outcomes.
• Bylaws. Voting Members to vote on proposals to Amend GSNorCal’s bylaws that achieve the objectives that Voting Members approved at our 2018 Annual Meeting

Voting Members: Voting Members of the Council, as defined in our current bylaws, are: delegates elected by Service Units; members of the Board of Directors; Girl Board Participants; members of the Council’s Board Development Committee who are not otherwise voting members of the Council; delegates to the National Council who are not otherwise voting members of the Council; and Delegates-at-Large.  All Voting Members MUST REGISTER for the Annual Meeting.  [Board members (including Board Nominees), BDC members (including BDC Nominees), Girl Board Participants, staff, and other specific pre-determined attendees will be contacted and registered by Chris Casiano.]

Visitors: Include any other council members, age 14 and older.  All are welcome to attend, but due to limited seating capacity (216), first priority is given to Voting Members and nominees.  All visitors MUST REGISTER in advance.

What to Wear: Business casual (or Girl Scout uniform) with closed-toe shoes. Dress comfortably in layers.

Fees: $15 per participant (covers the materials for the meeting including lunch and will not be reimbursed even if you choose to bring your own bag lunch)
